Gretel & Hansel (2020), una nueva versión del cuento clásico, llega a los cines argentinos esta semana, y ya se perfila como un exponente más de la llamada extra-oficialmente «Nueva ola del cine de terror». Por @AnXieBre Hace ya un par de años venimos siendo testigos de una nueva ola de cine de género, más precisamente, de una nueva ola de cine de terror. Films que, si bien llegan a las grandes salas, no son pochocleros, sus tramas no vienen tan «masticadas» ni sobre explicadas, aportan nuevas miradas – y por qué no, un nuevo concepto de «oscuridad»- y hasta utilizan otros recursos, recorren otras líneas argumentales y, sin duda, le exigen al espectador más atención, comprensión y análisis. Estas películas, claramente, parecen no ser para todos los públicos. Después de ver en cine gemas como Hereditary (2018), Midsommar (2019) y Nosotros (Us, 2019), muchos seguramente habrán quedado un tanto desconcertados e incluso insatisfechos. Gretel & Hansel: Un siniestro cuento de hadas, de Oz Perkins (hijo del gran Anthony Perkins, que interpretó a Norman Bates en Psicosis de Alfred Hitchcock) proviene del cuento clásico alemán de los hermanos Grimm publicado en 1812. Ya todos conocen su historia y hubo varias adaptaciones para la pantalla grande. Pero bien podría decirse que ésta pertenece a la nueva ola de películas mencionada más arriba. Ya desde la inversión de los nombres de sus personajes en el título, nos podemos hacer una idea de que muchos aspectos cambian. Y así fue. La preponderancia, el protagonismo, es de Gretel (el personaje femenino en cuestión, interpretado por la siempre destacable Sophia Lillis, recordada por su glorioso papel en It (2017)). En ella radica mayormente el potencial de la película. Y complementa muy bien otra figura femenina: Holda, la anciana, encarnada por la excelente actriz sudafricana Alice Krige, quien le aporta una gran profundidad a su «Bruja». Juntas dan pie a la fórmula infaltable en una película que reivindica el empoderamiento de la mujer y el surgimiento de un nuevo tipo de villana de cuentos; aquella que se deshace de los hombres y «adoctrina» a las jóvenes para formar un clan de mujeres poderosas. Por su parte, Gretel – desde pequeña y antes de dar con la bruja – ya conoce lo que es la muerte, la pérdida, la pobreza, el abandono y los peligros del mundo. Así transita con su hermano por el bosque (el mundo), como su protectora, aferrándose a la idea de supervivencia. Pero ella tiene el poder de decidir por sí misma, de arriesgarse. Es la joven empoderada que el cine hace tiempo viene representando. Y todo ese poder, en la película, se irá transformando. Del cuento clásico, entonces, sólo queda la estructura. Los dos hermanos se van de su casa en búsqueda de comida y trabajo, se encuentran con un leñador que los orienta en su camino, luego encuentran una misteriosa cabaña y, atraídos por las luces y el aroma a comida, deciden entrar y quedarse, aunque con cierto temor. Lo demás son giros arriesgados en un film muy seguro de sí mismo y de lo que quiere contar. Sostiene el relato, además, todo el bagaje visual: una especie de atmósfera gótica, un peculiar uso de sombras y contraluces y los colores llevados al extremo en los planos referentes al bosque. Gretel & Hansel: Un siniestro cuento de hadas desembarca como una rareza contemplativa, una película lenta pero inmersiva, que conserva el folclore alemán y la fantasía, pero mucho más perturbadora y adulta. Sin dudas el cuento nos asustó de chicos, pero esta reinterpretación de Perkins también tiene sus componentes aterradores. Y para los aficionados al género, que haya sido producida por el mismo equipo que se encargó de films como Sinister (2012) y La Morgue ( The Autopsy of Jane Doe, 2016), seguramente resulte ser una buena referencia. Hoje, funciona como uma combinação de conceitos tradicionais chineses e da apropriação de convenções ocidentais. História [ editar | editar código-fonte] Direito tradicional chinês [ editar | editar código-fonte] Estátua do reformador legalista Shang Yang. Este termo se refere ao direito chinês como foi produzido até a queda da dinastia Qing em 1911. É distinto de tradições ocidentais de Direito, estando ao lado de tradições orientais como a sharia e o dharma. Para os ocidentais, uma das características mais marcantes desta tradição era um sistema inquisitorial em que o juiz conduzia uma investigação pública, diferentemente de um sistema em que representantes da acusação e da defesa se enfrentam. Pelo contrário, os chineses antigos viam estas figuras como "parasitas que tentavam lucrar com a dificuldade dos outros". [ 1] Também diferentemente de outras grandes civilizações, onde era atribuído ao Direito origem divina, o Direito chinês era a princípio puramente secular, o que atraiu críticas severas de filósofos confucianos. Na China primitiva, havia duas ordens legais: li (禮, "costume") governava a conduta dos nobres enquanto xing (刑, "punição") governava a conduta dos comuns e dos escravos. Isto se estendeu para os procedimentos legais reforçados durante a dinastia Zhou, e igualmente para os reinos na qual esta se fragmentou no século VI a. C., que as codificariam. Entre os documentos deste período, destaca-se o Código Tang, compilado por Xuanling, conselheiro do Imperador Taizong. O confucionismo, assim como o neoconfucionismo (sua forma revisada) ainda perduraram pelas dinastias Song, Ming e Qing. Pelo tempo dos Qing, no entanto, as legislações teriam se inchado tanto que é duvidoso que os juristas dominassem adequadamente as distinções complexas nela contidas. Modernização [ editar | editar código-fonte] A introdução de temas jurídicos ocidentais na China começou ainda no período Qing, com a tradução de textos ocidentais para a língua chinesa por Lin Zexu em 1839. Estas traduções foram particularmente importantes entre os anos de 1896 e 1932, em que os chineses efetivamente absorveram e codificaram o Direito ocidental.
